2015:  UPDATES TODAY OUR RED WOLVES

Kona
Kona
my family of wolves
I have received word from the Defenders of Wildlife, that our Red Wolves are going into extinction.  There are no more than 100 left in the nation, and since 1980, FWS (Fish Wildlife Services) has been tasked with returning red wolves to the wild. However as of today they’re dragging their feet in ways that could amount to abandoning the program altogether. Critical staff vacancies are going unfilled. Critical field work is being skipped. And most telling of all – there has not been a single red wolf released into the wild in years.

                           CRISIS AT HAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Wolf family

Red wolves once roamed from Pennsylvania to Florida. Almost hunted to the brink of extinction, red wolf recovery efforts have been sporadic for decades. Today, fewer than 100 animals survive in the wild in a small part of eastern North Carolina.
And now, under pressure from North Carolina special interests, FWS appears ready to abandon this recovery program altogether!
Defenders of Wildlife will take whatever action is necessary to stop this tragedy. Their attorney's right now working very hard to                                    stop this tragedy going any further.

They have simply come too far to give up on these magnificent creatures – there is no excuse for walking away now and what beautiful animals they are, absolutely!!!

So please sign there petitions, regarding saving these precious animals, restoring the ecosystems to their natural balance is mandatory.  Hunters, must stop hunting, trophy hunts cannot continue,                                   they are the ancestors to our very own canine                                     existence.

I will keep everyone updated, as we are their voice and we as a group are devoted to:     PROTECT AND SAVE!!!!!!!!!!

APRIL 2015  UPDATE HUMANE SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL

Humane Society International
Humane Society International
saving animals everywhere
Thanks to everyone and their support of our #BeCrueltyFree campaign, New Zealand just became the first Australian country to ban cosmetics animal testing. Earlier this week, an amendment to the Animal Welfare Act was passed, reflecting the nation’s desire for humane beauty products.

This is another major victory, for Humane Society International following two years of intensive work in collaboration with their partners in New Zealand.  They had backing of more than 100,000 caring animal advocates, including all of my readers because petitions work.  Thank you everyone to signed their petitions sent through
"Poidogs anuenue", urging New Zealand's Parliament members to support this important legislation. Their efforts would not have been possible without everyone's signature.  With the support of their #BeCrueltyFree campaign, together all of us can and will continue to make a difference for animals suffering for cosmetics and other testing.

We are here to make a difference for all animals, domestic and/or wild we are here to:                "PROTECT AND SAVE"
